Privacy
You scanned a QR code in a bathroom. Here's exactly what we do with that.
What we record
- That a sticker was scanned, and when. This is how venues get paid.
- A one-way daily fingerprint. A keyed hash of your IP address, browser user-agent, the date and a random one-day cookie, so one person scanning twice in a day counts once. We never store the IP address or the cookie itself, and because the date is part of the hash, it can't link your visits across days.
- Anything you choose to submit: a star rating, a maintenance report, an optional comment. Comments are shown to the venue.
- Sponsor clicks, counted the same way.
What we don't do
- No accounts, no names, no emails (unless you fill out our business contact form).
- No advertising cookies, no third-party trackers, no analytics scripts on these pages. Our only cookies are a security token that protects the forms and the random one-day counting cookie above; it expires after 24 hours and means nothing outside this site.
- No camera, location or contacts access. It's a web page.
- We don't sell data. Advertisers see totals, not people.
